dude, why does it make them a squid, because they can ride really good. Maybe they can't afford the ridiculous $120 fee to get on a track for a track day...

Because they're riding a one wheeled bike doing wheelies down a traffic filled road.

hahahha, if you can afford to ride you can afford a trackday. well unless you're like me and spending money on upgrades so i can be better at my next trackday.

as for doing wheelies, that's what parking lots are for. just my opinion but wheelie skills don't equate to riding skills. i've never carried anything more than the occasional power wheelie on mine, i'm sure i'd be more tempted to raise the front on a liter bike but in reality the suspension on sportbikes just isn't designed for that kind of abuse. that's why we have dual sports and motards :D

$120 track day or $300+ fine and points and/or jail for street riding/racing... don't get me wrong, I'm all for it (not stunting, but riding hard on the streets)...

The $120 for the day is not the killer for most... It's the spare bike (if you plan on riding the wheels off), the full suit and gear required, and the travel expenses incurred... a "good" track day costs at least $500, but when we rode Road Atlanta, Jennings and Barber - it was closer to $800+ per person when all was said and done per Track.
