As most of you know, one of our members on this site (HAND) will be leaving us to serve his country in a few short weeks. Hand and his wife Kristin have become some great friends of my wife and I and to many on this site as well. I know this has been brought up before but I am trying to get an official last ride together for him. I know it is short notice, the date snuck up on me, but I would like to try and get a ride together this weekend, 10-8-11 or possibly next weekend 10-15-11. I understand work schedules so if everyone could put down the best day for you to ride, I am guessing Saturday or Sunday we could nail down a date and time. Invite all your friends, family, neighbors, or anyone you can think of so we can make this ride one to remember. All motorcycles are welcome and encouraged to come out. Thanks for all y'alls support and be sure to thank HAND and all other service members.

So far we have a vote for 10-15-11, if that is the date we choose it will have to be after 2:30 pm, work will get in the way until that time. Do we have any takers for an afternoon ride this Sunday possibly?

Neither of those will work for me... I have the gf's b-day this weekend, and I'm the best man in a wedding next weekend... My vote is the 21st... or I can just ride down and visit the 21st (or make it a long weekend).

Saturday is looking great, if we can hold off until after 2:00 pm (work got in the way). Let's try to find a central meeting place Hinesville or Savannah and nail down a time. Don't forget to spread the word.

Good to meet some of you guys and gals.
Short but fun run.
Wising I still had my 08 CBR1000RR for those twisties on Hutchison Island but it was still fun.
I hope we can get a much earlier start on a ride one of these days soon.
