Thursday NightsB&D Burgers, Savannah, Georgia on Abercorn DrDicks Wings and Grill, Waycross, Georgia on US1both bike nights are on thursday night.. usually starting around 7:00..

Are you sure that B&D's still have a bike night? I went buy there about a month ago and saw a whopping 2 bikes and no advertising. Nothing that said bike night to me.
uh... it's prolly been a month or so since i've been up there so im not sure if they are still doing it or not..

B&D's is hit and miss... the weather really messed up bike nights in Savannah! Tuesday night is Hooters in Savannah, not Wednesday anymore.
There are also a couple in Statesboro, but I don't know the details.

B&D was big when we went at the beginning of the year. Jax does a hooters on southside also but Savannah may be worth checking out! Any way you can find out about the boro ones?
any of them u can find out about would be great! just post up under the bike night section.. then we can all go and promote the :shiftedsega:

I've went out to B&D's the last three weeks in a row now. The weather was perfect yet myself and my 2 friends riding with me made up 3 of the maybe 10 bikes there. That was a busy night.... I'm not sure what happened with that but it hasn't been going on lately. There was a meet at Loco's bar and grill in SAV weds nights but nothing major. I honestly haven't seen too many big gatherings in the last few months. How is the turn out at hooters and JT's on tuesdays was it?

Absolutely, about 3 months ago I went every Thurs and there was always a parking lot full of bikes even when it was cold. They used to have a few vendors who always came out as well. I asked the waitress if she knew anyting about it and she informed me that nothing changed on the restaurant side of the equation. Apparently it just died off for unexplained reasonsl. I assumed it moved someplace else but have found that not to be the case. Its a mistery.

With rain for almost 95 days this summer, the bike nights in Sav area ALL fell off the earth... you will be lucky to catch 10 bikes in any group ride nowadays! It's getting lame... Also, the economy isn't helping people get out a grab a bite to eat or a drink either... Hopefully, it will grow in the near future, but I'm not counting on it...

My Wednesdays are booked until 10/07, but I will ride over there after that and see what it's like.
I spoke with the manager at moondoggy's pizza here in bwk tonight. She was really excited about doing a bike night. She iS going to get with the other managers and then get with me.
I told her that right now, we were looking to do it once a month, probably on a sat. Night, (because it would be a nuetral day, easier for the jax crew to come up and not have to rush home to go to work the next day)
so as soon as i hear from her i will post more info..

she called me back, they are all for it, and i am meeting with her wed. morning.. she wants to get together to get specifics on what we are looking for, as well as what they will/will not want from us.. they are excited about this so hopefully we can turn out some big numbers for them!!

Nothing like a cruiser shop doing a sportbike bike night. If I end up going out this week, I'm heading to Dizzy Deans.

ok, i had the meeting with the manager at moondoggy's today, and it's a go!they are really excited about it, she even had the owner come in for the meeting! And the owner is just as pumped about it. So i told her about the date..sat.oct 17th she said she cant wait!
I would really like for everyone that can to pull together for this! I'm hoping we can really turn some big numbers for them. She is still saying that if we have enough people, that she will lock the doors when they close and we can have the whole place to ourselves! "just remember to tip really well" lol
she is also working on a "special menu for us, everything we can get at a discounted rate for being there for bike night"
so anyway.. Everyone that can, please come up here and support shiftedsega's 1st bike night!!!

I'm no English/Spelling professor by any means, and I hate correcting people's grammar and spelling, because I cannot stand people doing it to me. That being said and with this being seen by bunches of folks (hopefully), "ALOT" is two words - A LOT. Once again, forgive me on this one, but I hope you all would do the same for me in this case...
Now, I feel like the :ahole2: that I think others are when they do this to me - or my Mom!
I will go ahead and edit my copy and make copies for the places that I frequent.

For future reference, there is a new Bike Night in Port Wentworth (near Savannah) @ Chaps Bar & Grill... Thursday Nights @ 6:00pm until... Sponsored by Renegade Cycles with a Bikini Contest throughout the next six weeks... I just got back from the second one, and there were nearly 65 bikes and 100 people... plus a live band of some sort... If any of you can make it to one or more, let me know in advance, and I'll meet you there.
mental note to self...."work on bikini contest for moondoggy's bike night"...:lol:

+ 1 for a contest of any sort at Moondoggys! Contests and free stuff make the world go round and the people come out!
working on that... there is a new shop opening here in brunswick.. "fearless motorsports".. i have spoke to him and he is going to be there as well.. think he's bringing out some stuff to give away.. t shirts, stickers.. things like that..

i was drinking at the new ale house in funswick, just on the west side of I-95, (the old la fuente).
The are holding a bike night on THURSDAY nights!!!!!!!!!!!!
They just opened up two or three nights ago as of 14 oct 2009, so they are working out the details on whether or not they are going to give specials or prizes to bikers.
BBBBUUUUTTTTT, i was drinking there tonight and had an extensive chat with themanager about bike night etiquette.
They seemed real receptive to the needs of bike nighters and said they were going to work on some thigns.
Needless to say, being that, that bar is RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO THE DAMN HARLEY SHOP, we need to go out and make a name for ourselves. we all know that we get together and ride around here, but besides the ride this weekend, (which i wont be able to ride because brad schedules all the major rides for when i'm on duty), this is just the kind of thing we need here in town for a week night bikenight. 4get b&d burger and all those savannah cops... lets fucking embrace this place and let em know what we want, because right now is the time that management is probably going to be most flexable and moldable to our ideas.
The guys i talked to tonight was really into what i had to say and what i wanted them to offer us.
I even brought up the idea of having a stunt show in their parking lot and he did not say no, so we may be able to work with them about that.
i'll be there tomorrow night with the green ninja.
